Your Daily Tottenham Briefing 29.0421 |video

By The Boy -

Ten Hag has emerged as a candidate for the Tottenham job, but is this a sound rumour from the best sources that might be available to us? Gareth Southgate has also been tipped by some fans on social media, but could that be just a piece of well-meaning disinformation?

I also look at the proposed social media blackout and ask what the legitimacy of the Tottenham Hotspur’s Supporters’ Trust has in respect of seeking to ‘claim a seat on the Tottenham board.

“The cat is well and truly out of the bag” – never a truer word spoken. This is the beginning of the end. We’ll have Big Sam, or good old Woy in charge next season; and no offence to those battle hardened, fine, upstanding gents, but if that is truly the level to which we have sunk, the only long term result the ENIC master plan was ever going to yield, can’t be far away. To be honest, I’d even welcome the last remaining chuckle brother, if it resulted in ENIC doing one

Jogging my memory of the favourite years for the ENIC cult PR team, the mid late 90’s, who they will tell everyone that’s the dark history Spurs amounted to until the glorious savior Levy came in…
Even those years produced some great moments, performances and characters I’d have back in a second compared to the dross of the last few years and before Redknapp and Poch.
94/95 London’s top side, then injury ravaged over that period, but still the next season we were in the top 3 first half of the season. Chris Armstrong gets Alot of sly stick too, he got 22 goals in his first season, including the winner vs Arsenal and 2 v Champions Man Utd who we done 4-1!? He was unlucky with injury’s next couple years. Arsenal didn’t beat us 94 to 96 , I’d certainly take that now. There was bad times and the season where we avoided going down was a struggle but again finances and injury plagued the club. All in all, unless you like real estate and shiney buildings I’d have even those times over today’s “progress”. Even the years they use to spin Levys failure.

Don’t you think we are stuffed then? I can’t see us getting back to top 4 for ages.

I often think the same thing Tappa, yes it’s frustrating and disappointing, still love Spurs though. Friends, Wives, Husbands, Girlfriends, Boyfriends etc. come and go. Your club is for life.

Reading through the comments the way some people talk about TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOOTBALL CLUB is just wrong. Just belittling the club. I really don’t understand it. They carry on like rivals. For me them people don’t deserve any glory.
