Your Daily Briefing video feat. Covid and which sandbags must be tossed from the basket

After a brief dalliance with your friend and mine, the variant, your Daily Briefing returns. One thing that struck me as uncommonly glib was the business of Jürgen Klopp telling us all how our hand gel game might be raised, in order to keep up us all safer.

What is not an option, is for the Premier League to do nothing when it comes to strategizing for the continued disruption this virus will inevitably bring.

Palace at home tomorrow, and fingers are crossed that Conte’s green shoots continue to flourish…

I suppose if we got in a better replacement then it might make sense. Be a few in for him I reckon based on recent displays,

He wouldn’t be my pick to leave – but it is also a case of shifting whoever can demand a decent fee, and he just might

Shifting Sanchez is unnecessary in my book as he’s covered very well for Romero and might have to do so again in the future, in fact he certainly will.

Do dheagh shlainte (although I had to look it up).

And while I’m at it, I’ll raise my glass to all the staff at the Whittington & UCH hospitals who somehow managed to get my dad safely back home late last night after a 3 week stay at the outset of which it was touch and go as to whether he’d see today at all. Not covid, a gall bladder/sepsis situation; he’s in his early eighties, nasty business.

Bless the old curmudgeon.

Welcome back to your own Vlog, Aitch. I’m literally raising a glass of Ardbeg to the screen in honour of your return, and in honour of the fact that I’m too far gone to know better.

Here’s to 3 wins on the trot, starting tomorrow if it goes ahead. Given the look of January’s fixtures, we need these next 3.

Merry Solsticey time everyone.

I think Ndombele has got a little slimmer training under Conte, so maybe not too difficult and tough to shift him now. Compliments of the Season to you Harry and glad to hear you OK after your dilemma with that nasty bug.

Almost impossible. Think Alli could be a similar story given his wages.

Good to see you back.

Dier, Doherty, Winks…not sure the very first out the door.

Alli, Lo Celso, Rodon and dare I say the little chap Gil might be even less to Conte’s tastes.

Sanchez and Ndombele I’d say are gone if the right money is on the table too.
