Young right-back spotted in training with the first team as Porro deemed a doubt for the Palace game

By Mehdi Gokal -

Young Tottenham right-back Max Robson was spotted in training with the first-team ahead of the Palace game.

Ange Postecoglou is known for his work with the young players, helping them develop into first-team stars.

Pape Matar Sarr is the prime example, with the Australian trusting him to to start ahead of the likes of Hojbjerg and Bentancur. And he has repaid the faith by becoming one of the most important players in the side.

Several other youngsters have been intergeated in training with the first-team since Postecoglou’s arrival, including Jamie Donley, Alfie Dorrington, Mikey Moore, and Ashley Phillips.

Max Robson has become the latest youngster to be called in training with the first team.

In a video shared on Tottenham’s official YouTube channel, Robson was seen training with the senior squad on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old greeted Richarlison before the practice session and also participated in a small game with other key players from Spurs.

Pedro Porro has been out injured and is unlikely to be back fit for the game this weekend.

While Emerson Royal is most likely to start in his replacement, you can’t rule out a place on the bench for Robson.
