Young Premier League star in the frame to replace Serge Aurier

Tottenham have Max Aarons in mind as a possible replacement for Serge Aurier as the Ivorian continues to be linked with a move away from Spurs.

Aurier has been the only right full-back at Jose Mourinho’s disposal since he became the club’s manager and the Portuguese boss has had no choice but to rely on him.

That doesn’t negate the fact that Aurier is quite an unreliable player that always looks to be one mistake away from costing his team points.

Because of this, it can be considered good news that he has been linked with a move away from Tottenham and it appears that the Lilywhites will be more than happy to see him gone and they have even lined up a replacement.

Football London claims that Tottenham has an eye on a move for Norwich City’s Max Aarons and that if they did have to sell Aurier, they will make a move for the young Englishman.

The report claims that Spurs have reservations about his size, however, if they can get a favourable deal done over his transfer then they will make it happen since he is young and can only get better.

Despite their relegation from the English top-flight, Norwich will still expect to make good money from the sale of the full-back.
