Tottenham Hotspur did well to secure a draw against Brentford in the Premier League earlier today.
The London club found themselves trailing 2-0 at one point but goals from Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Harry Kane allowed them to claw their way back into their contest. Goals from Vitaly Janelt and Ivan Toney gave Brentford a commanding lead 54 minutes into the game.
Former Tottenham star and club legend Graham Roberts has now heaped praise on the 29-year-old striker for his performance against the Bees.
Roberts tweeted: “You will not keep this man down! One of our own @HKane. Cracking goal and a good point in the end! Closing in on this incredible record held by the great Jimmy greaves.“

Harry Kane not only scored an important goal for his side, but he also put in a complete display in the final third. The England international worked hard to link the midfield with the attack and he helped create chances for his teammates apart from getting on the scoresheet himself.
The 29-year-old will be disappointed to have come away with just a point from the game.
Tottenham are currently fighting for a place in the Champions League next season and they cannot afford to drop points against weaker sides. The absence of star defender Cristian Romero probably played a big role in the London club’s struggles at the back.
Conte will be demanding more from his side in the coming weeks and the players will be expected to step up and get the job done.
Meanwhile, Kane has been in fine form for Tottenham this season and he has managed to score 13 goals in 16 league games so far. The Londoners will need him to keep firing on all cylinders if they are to finish in the top four and qualify for the Champions league.
