Pretty much every Tottenham player had a great game against the already relegated footballing fodder that is Sheffield United. But Harry Kane however, did not have a great game.
17% of shots on target against such dreadfully poor opponents says something? If it doesn’t directly say something, it surely suggests it, no?
H’s passing and overall play were spot-on, as this assist (above) indicates… That said, it strikes me as peculiar that Spurs’ talisman is one of the few of our boys to experience a visible ‘uplift’ against a relegation mob…
For what he has done for us,Kane is entitled to the odd off day.It was frustrating against such abject opposition too.
However all strikers go through this, look at Aguero,Salah and Vardy. For overall consistency it’s hard to fault Harry.
A diamond in the rough. US Open rough. Sonny the same.
Of course it will be his worst PL cause when he looks right and left he sees Dele Dier Winks on thé starting lineup what you expect when you reward the lazy people it puts off the hardworking people it is common sense he sees undeserving and flopped players all around him that is not pretty scene or situation to be specially when you are PL top scorer.
Harry Kane’s body language tells me he’s already thinking he’ll break Shearers record elsewhere next season.
I don’t think he will leave. I don’t have any evidence other than that he would have to force a move and I don’t think that is Harry’s style.
I am sure he is leaving at the end of this season, but I suspect the price Levy will demand will be far too high. He is twenty eight with dodgy ankles as you mentioned and few clubs can afford him.
Those ankles could still be troubling him. It’s hard to know with Harry as he always makes himself available if he can.
