Whose Fault Was It Anyway? The video says Davies, Aurier & Sanchez all had a hand the goals…

By The Boy -

ALL 3 GOALS

GOAL ONE as was pointed out in this piece (which few bothered to read) Sheffield United predominantly attacked down their right, our left. Looking at the aftermath of the goal, Davies was absent without leave, Dier was in right position, which left Sonny flapping about – after the event.

GOAL TWO Was straightforward enough, Serge Aurier didn’t go with his man in case of a second ball as Sanchez denied his attacker. A nice piece of opportunism.

GOAL THREE Down the right again, this time Davies closes in, and Dele Alli stays on the wrong side, presumably hoping for a loose ball. By the time the ball got to the byline, Tanguy’s half-hearted foot out didn’t constitute a proper challenge, the cross went in and Sanchez was static as the scorer flew in.

James , I would never say that he was ‘played’ by Levy . Surely someone of his standing would want to know whats what in regard to Team building resources , and be told exactly . What irks me with Mourinho is his toeing the Party line with he being happy with this and happy with that when all and sundry can see the Fiasco unfolding .

Sorry this is long shipmates…now we have a few options as to what happened.
1. They don’t understand JMs instructions.
2. They don’t have the skill to carry them out.
3. He is not getting his point over in training
4. They are all basically useless

This is b ridiculous. At the time I thought Goal1 was just one of those things a well worked goal – move on. Having watched H’s clip give me strength. There are a line of blue shirts all static and a little triangle of 3 YES 3 Blades all ready for the pass. Our player goes to block so in my eyes is exonerated but could someone tell the rest of them they are allowed to move. Who was our player my eyes ain’t that good (he ends up flat on his back but at least he tried) Thanks

Who’s been played? Isn’t Mourinho on a rumoured £15 mill pa? I shouldn’t think he gives a flying f**k. Lack of success will be blamed on Levy. Everybody in football knows you cannot win with him.

I have never heard a manager call out his team in public like that. Either Levy let’s Mourinho bring in his own players or he walks away. I think last night Mourinho realised the scale of the problems he has and the lack of the resources to remedy them. He maybe just realised he’s been played by the master manipulator.

Football is not a normal business. Owners can do what they like, unfortunately.

Having watched the game in it’s entirety, I thought they wanted to win much more than us, but that frequently seems to be the case. We have gone from having one of the best defences in the PL to being completely porous. As always, the problem is Levy. When you have owners who care nothing for the game and are only interested in building a property empire, then the lack of desire permeates through the club. I hold no brief for Mourinho, but there is not a manager in world football who could make a silk purse out of the sow’s ear which is what this team has become. The problems start at the top. Ten managers in twenty years, shortly to become eleven I suspect ( how much has that cost in redundancy packages?), one trophy and £650 mill of debt. We are out of the CL qualifications for next season, so that is another knock to our finances. I imagine that attendances will drop at the shopping emporium as will the spend per head. What does that leave you might well ask? Apart from a bad taste in the mouth, very little to look forward to. Levy has already warned us that there will be little money available fin the transfer market, despite this squad needing substantial investment. A major part of the problem can be traced to our inactivity in the transfer market during two consecutive windows but its is also down to our poor recruitment over a number of years. THFC is now a business not a football club, and when a business starts failing and the brand becomes damaged, the normal course of events is to sack the CEO.
