What Time Are We Playing PSV & Is It On TV?

By The Boy -

Tottenham welcome PSV Eindhoven to Wembley for a vital Group B clash in the Champions League.

Spurs need a win as they lie bottom of the group with one point after three matches.

With assurances that the pitch will be less awful than last time from the good people at Wembley, tonight’s Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven should at least be more watchable than the last debacle.

Group B consists of two premium European sides and a pair of chancers, if your metric for being a premium side is winning games.

Coverage on BT Sport 2 starts at 1900hrs, with kick off at 2000hrs.

If you’re able to avoid spoilers, BT Sport 2 then go straight into a 30minute highlights show of the game from 2200hrs.

You can get an authentic flavour of the game on this blog from 2000hrs onwards.

If you want to hear every play described by grown men shivering, then 5Live can give you what you want.

PSV are currently top of the Eredvisie.

On Saturday they beat Vitesse 1-0.

Just wish I could find a way to watch the FA Cup and Caraboa Cup so I could stream all the games live.

Hotstar sub also includes F1, Kabbadi and more Cricket than you can shake a stick at. Although does require an iphone and a rupee iTunes Gift card. Would give more detailed instructions but happy for this loophole to stay closed.

The money says we must finish at least 3rd to keep the coffers ringing.

Whereas common sense says jack it in and get ready for Palace.

I think any Superleague might be an even worse competition.

Champions or not. When we were Super Tottenham from the Lane I could cope with anything. Watching an average side in a soulless cashless NFL/events arena is not what football was supposed to be. That’s where its headed.

For me, this is a ‘must lose’ match. Yes it’s defeatist and yes, it will be humiliating. But the short term pain of an early exit from the UCL gravy train is better for long term gain – i.e. avoiding the dreaded Europa League. Our team is knackered on many levels – physically, mentally and philosophically. They really don’t need extra matches. Realistically, PSV will struggle to get any positive result against either Barca or Milan, whilst we would have to gamble on turning over both Barca and Milan (if Milan lose against Barca). Best for all concerned if we slip quietly into the night and conserve our energies for domestic competitions in accordance with the Wenger model.

We’ll win tonight 3-1.

Milan will lose to Barca.

Then it’ll be “POCH’S UPHILL BATTLE.”

Milan will beat PSV

We’ll beat Milan in a feisty encounter (3-2) to us.

Then it’ll be “CAN POCH PULL OFF THE IMPOSSIBLE?”

Setting it up nicely for a Barca game in which we’ll lose 5-0.

Basically, we’ll build up everybody’s hopes only to go out in the worst way possible.

That’s Spurs.

A way of watching it on a free stream is if you have a VPN or DNS that can spoof you being in India as SonyLiv have all the Champions League and Ropey League games (and England games which are on Sky). That’s how I watch them along with my paid Hotstar subscription for all the Premier League games. No silly pop ups and decent resolution.

Whether we lose or not it makes no odds. We are trapped in the mythical mire of this bullshat competition, and next season we are aiming to do it aaaaaaaall again. Pointless waste of time. Thanks to the demolition of WHL its mandatory…..that or a quarter full stadium in the Europa. Modern football eh? Ace.
