“West Ham” Poch Prompts Some Wild Speculation | video

By Joe Fish -

Mauricio Pochettino revealed in an interview with Sky Sports that he’d like to stay in London when he returns to management.

The Argentine is free to find a new club now that his gardening leave is over and discussed what’s next for him in the below video:

This provoked quite the mixed reaction from Tottenham fans on Twitter, some of whom are desperate to have the 48-year-old back at the helm, and others who have different ideas for Poch if he remains in the capital.

I know some of the teasing is in jest but I don’t see why Spurs fans have to be split into two such extreme camps on Poch. Is there anybody else out there, like me, who remembers him fondly but wouldn’t want him back?

Ah sorry i have no idea about any of that.. All i know is that they are rich… Unfortunately many rich people get their gold by ill means.. Let me rephrase that to ‘any stinking rich passionate owner with good morals and clear ambition to invest and win’ … It worked for man city and chelsea which was whom i was referring to..

I’d rather get relegated repeatedly and be in the lower leagues than have some arab scum injecting dirty money into the club like the Saudi thugs trying to sports-wash their human rights abuses. If the league lets them buy Newcastle, they’re willingly going along with that sports-washing. Terrible example, rewarding murderous thugs and helping rehab their image. Appalling.

Didn’t want him when he was at Stains
Grew to appreciate him and his Top4 finishes
Realised it was at an end – either him or the turd had to go
Would welcome him back when the turds at the top move on

Don’t think Spurs will be sold to anyone from that part of the world.

There’s a different interview on the Guardian where he was convinced Spurs would win the Champions League Final, and what I find hard to believe is he thinks Spurs were better than Liverpool on the night and the penalty after thirty seconds derailed things which is true enough. He admits that he couldn’t face a rebuild especially under the same set up at Spurs, but that he was right to stay on more out of loyalty than any rational assessment of things. It’s all a bit mixed up and deluded on us being the better team in the Champions League Final.

We need some stinking rich arab to buy us, take away all the debt and interest. Then invest abromovich style,… I would welcome him back in a shot. And Mitchell with his box.. But not under levy and this incompetent set up.

Did a very good job with one hand tied behind his back but there is very little point in him coming back unless the regime changes.

I remember him fondly but wouldn’t want him back now – there would be no point. He had to go when he did, and it’s still the same squad. Give it a few years when he’s got some more experience and I’ll be happy to see him back here.
