West Ham are annoying but this starting XI should be far too strong for them to handle

Guessing what line up Jose Mourinho will go with really is an exercise in futility (who said that?) but I reckon that it is possible to get very close to predicting what sort of line up he will go with based on his comments and previous selections.

For starters, I cannot see him changing the back four mainly because there is hardly much choice and he does appear to have his favourites.

Hugo Lloris is a given in goal and I cannot see Mourinho changing Davinson Sanchez and Eric Dier in central defence and I am happy with that.

I would like to see Ryan Sessegnon at left-back but I just do not see Mourinho going for that and Serge Aurier is basically the only option at right-back.

I will come back to the midfield because that is the trickiest area in my opinion and instead quickly cover the frontline.

Harry Kane is an obvious selection and behind him, I expect to see Steven Bergwijn and Son Heung-min.

Now to the midfield, Mossa Sissoko is a certainty in my humble opinion and I reckon that Giovani Lo Celso will be given a start over Erik Lamela and that leaves either Harry Winks or Tanguy Ndombele and for me, Mourinho is likely to go with Winks. I am not sure he fully trusts Ndombele just yet.

So, this is my guess at a starting XI

Lloris
Davies
Dier
Sanchez
Aurier
Sissoko
Lo Celso
Winks
Bergwijn
Son
Kane

Obviously Mourinho could play Lamela, Ndombele, Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli, Sessegnon and even Lucas Moura and I could have as few as just five correct but based on what I have seen so far I reckon I will be fairly close to what the Portuguese goes with.

West Ham are an annoying team, they have a habit of spoiling the party, they do see this fixture as their cup final but with the right team selection and tactics, Tottenham really should win comfortably and the team I have listed can do just that.
