Watch your Daily Briefing feat. Eric Dier’s rebirth and the Interlull’s least plausible gossip

By The Boy -

How was your international break? Mine has been a mixed bag, hence the absence of daily updates. I don’t really need to wade through the misdirection and the blatant lies with you, at this stage, do I? My sincere thanks to Eddie for doing the hard yards and bringing us the news desk items every morning.

The football starts again this weekend, and once more, Spurs are being portrayed as plucky sorts, close to the final push towards European football next season.

I take a view that any club that relies upon other sides to falter is a charity case. What gentler language would you prefer?

Sustainable infrastructure investment, you say? Pfffffft.

I’m sure Daniel would attempt to lecture us that the ‘football operation’ is an entirely separate entity. Yet we have a 1bn stadium built on debt, yet we still have a mid table wage bill and net spend… 🤔

but I find i cannot stand certain players.
Winks is one as I feel he thinks he is Iniesta lite and Dier is the other one as I feel he thinks he is the enforcer who roams the backfield organising the troops whereas I can never get that picture of him flinching as he fails to get near Calvin Klein (sic) score his winning goal for Everton.
Hard man my Arsenal you are a melt and you did exactly the same thing again recently.
Wave your arms all you want and point at team mates but we know what you are made of Dire and it ain’t steel.

I never used to hate players. I remember a few duds who people used to get on their back (John Pratt was one) but I never did that thinking they wanted to play for Spurs and gave their best.
Something has changed I suppose it is the constant spotlight now. I cant visit Youtube without some nob sitting in a tiny box moaning about people demonstrating about Levy (I wouldnt but I applaud anything against the shyster or another mug in his box telling us numerous times how we shouldnt have Mike Ashley as an owner (yes you Jason you mug).

more……………….

Meanwhile Rodon leaves despite proving he is a solid central defender for his country.

Jam tomorrow, sustainability, the importance of “being in the race for important players” (but not signing them), ‘prospects’ but not winners, winning every award it’s possible for a football club to win that has nothing to do with football.

It’s exhausting, while the likes of Alistair Gold try to build ‘exciting’ stories from snippets handed to him by his mates in the ENIC politburo.

23 years and counting people, 23 years and counting…

To Dare is Too Dear. Why pay for top players when you can buy flats? That’s Levy’s mantra.

I bet Conte’s going to be demanding. Let’s see if the egomaniacal bald midget can deliver. I know where my money is going in terms of outcome.

Ha! No, not too demanding, Aitch; Spurs have long been a club which demands to be demanded from.

Agreed Harry, Spurs news at this time is all “Spurs in talks to sign blah blah blah” and I struggle to find such stories believable in July, let alone March.

Maybe nonsense like this indicates an absence of actual Spurs news, which all things considered may in itself be good news.
