Watch the presser: Conte waits on talks with Paratici, a decision on Winks, and Tanguy gets ‘a mention’

By The Boy -

Watford are up next in the Premier League and Spurs are keeping themselves in remarkably good order injury-wise, given the fixture pile-up, but I guess we have more games to go before things begin might slow down a little.

Antonio believes that he has made his assessments of the squad, and this would lead one to believe that the gaffer is ready to ‘reshuffle’ his pack. The only obstacles here are that the pack is not his, and he will need to get past the recently installed Director of Football and the ever-present CEO of THFC.

Winks is staying, which will please the new recruits to his fan club. As for Tanguy, we are fed the tantalizing line, “there are some players who struggle to understand situations”… at least the Frenchman wasn’t expensive, eh?

It never fails to crack me up how Conte never understands what scratchy voiced Jonathon Veal asks him!

On one hand I find it very refreshing that he now confirms he has made his evaluations, on the other I find it incredulous that senior management of a multi-million pound business have gotten to December 30th (ie 2 days before the start of the transfer window) and still not had “a meeting” to discuss them.

Thanks to Utd imploding and no one else looking as good as us we are still amazingly in the mix. The January window will show whether we can be in the fight.

Q; What do you think of Tanguy?
A: He is a middle fielder.

Said it the other day. The players out the door have had their notices.

N’Dombele along with Dele need to take a long hard look at themselves. Who and where they are in their careers is down to them and them alone. Sad really, both have the potential to be great players.

Tribalfootball.com reporting or maybe just fling horse radish on the wall. Mousa Dembele agent is demanding $40m per year and upfront signing bonus of $20m. I think by linking him to Spurs somebody is trying get a knighthood for Dan Levy.

We don’t care let Levy darlings Dele Winks etc go or stay.it is make or brake to catch up the Champions League positions this season Baldy egomaniac has to back Conte and bring him 3 new players of Conte’s choosing in places of Eriksen, Lamela and Sissoko this window less than that forget finishing top 4 next 10 years let alone to win anything. Kane may retire as a loser for his entire football career without a trophy what a sad ending of one of the best strikers in club and country in English football history criminals Enic/Levy&Co.

N’Belly couldn’t do the presser because he was puffing too much from training.
