During a post-match interview with a Dutch reporter, Heung-min Son had an amusing moment when he discovered he had been pronouncing his teammate’s name incorrectly.
The Tottenham captain referred to the Dutch center-back as ‘Micky van de Vick.’ When the reporter asked how he had been pronouncing the name, Son repeated it, and the reporter corrected him.
Son appeared surprised by this revelation and responded with a simple “oh wow.”
