Watch Tanguy perform the same ‘stunt’ repeatedly against NS Mura

By The Boy -

It’s difficult to know where Spurs might go after this very public collapse. Turf Moor, mate is the quick answer, but what I will say is, that I have been banging on about incompetence in the squad for some considerable time. Against Mura, Tanguy managed to lose possession on 12 occasions during his 77 minutes under the lights. Here (above) are 6 examples.

Against this class of opposition, it is nothing shy of humiliating for any player costing so much, being paid so much. Does Ndombele feel any shame, any shame at all, I wonder? Pitiful.

Incompetence of the highest level signing this player who simply does not want to be here, incredibly poor judgement of a player with no appetite for the game, and why nobody else took him.

Paul Mitchel didn’t even have time to set up his ‘black box’ before being shown the door by the bald c*nt…

If Paratici is making changes how the hell is Hitchens still at the club, unless he is the next fall guy to gloss over Levy’s incompetence.

Another that showed promise. Turns out he’s just another in a long line of lemons.

Conte and Paratici know what they’re doing.. Conte left Inter because they wouldn’t buy him Giroud, he’s no 50 million player. Worth closer to 4 million… Conte spent 230 mil at both Chelsea and Inter. Winning both leagues… You’re right all our recent signings have been rubbish, this is why we have a new sporting director and he’s changing the whole scouting system. Even the video review system which I imagine will be new and high tec, making paul Mitchells little black box look like an antique.

Tanguy has to go.. His fee and wages now means he’s cost us 110million so far.. Shocking.

Whilst last night was diabolical, it only reaffirmed that Conte will need time and money. The likes of Alli, Doherty, Sanchez should be nowhere near the first team again.
Those calling for a total overhaul of the squad with top quality additions are in for a shock – Top quality additions cost upwards of 50m each, say we need 10 players, thats £500m – aint gonna happen. What we need is a vision, a manager in for the long haul, who can identify where we need to improve, and sadly, our history of spending money on so-called finished articles isnt great. Ndombele £55m? Lo Celso £45m? Sanchez £42m? Bergwijn £25m? Sissoko £30m, if we are honest, each and every one of those have been less than successful. Fans need to stop looking at price tags when we sign players and look at actually what the player brings to the team, a huge price tag doesnt always guarantee a great player.
Above is close to £200m spent, so those saying we havent invested in the squad need to look closer. Sadly it just hasnt been money well spent.

If Conte isn’t allowed to do what he wants with the squad in January. Then this will end the same way as Jose and I’ve said this from the start when Conte was appointed.

The change in manager makes no difference with the owners we have and the players we have.

Its the same old s***e over and over again. Now the disillusioned and Levy supporters surely must have woken up after last night performance.

He states the club has changed its coaches because of the problems but the problems are the problem and nothing will change until they are dealt with. In other words the squad quality is the problem and ENIC & Levy are the problem for their total disinterest in investing in the squad. the situation is black and white. If there is no complete overhaul of the squad with top-quality players then nothing will change and Conte will leave either of his own choices or because Levy has pulled the trigger once again. If Levy does his usual of changing the coach as a cheaper option to changing the players then I think it is the end of the road for ENIC and its ownership of the club as they will have lost the supporters for good this time. No amount of sleazy pr spin will reverse them out of the dead-end they have driven down.
