Watch Tanguy Ndombele’s first Champions League goal for Napoli

This was Tanguy’s 5th game of the season for loaning side Napoli and this was his first goal. Indeed, looking at the modest minutes the Frenchman has been afforded, Ndombele is perhaps unlikely to bag all that many goals this term, as he’s being played as a defensive midfielder.

If you think this may not look much like a success story, then consider young Harry Winks. The Spurs flop was announced as being on loan with Sampdoria on the 30th of August and to date… he’s made just one appearance so far, and that was at a training session.

Winks has an ankle injury. N’dom is just unfit, per usual.

Spurred on by Marbs a thought occurred to me.
If Conte leaves and Poochy comes back then maybe he will resurrect Lo Value’s career.
Imagine that (no-one on earth can save Ndonkey though).

It appears Napoli have quite the attacking mid in their ranks now.

That must have added at least a tenner onto his sale price! So twenty quid it is then!

I have seen this goal described somewhere in the media as a ‘screamer’.What bollox!A ny half competent striker could have tucked that away.Desperate times for some.

Not very convincing was it. A better keeper wouldn’t have fallen down to their left where there was little to no space for him to shoot anyway.
Unfortunately he just simply isn’t a good enough player for top level. Where he can do some magic with passing the ball, there are plenty of street artists who can do all sorts clever tricks with a football, but they never make it as a professional footballer player do they.
You can have tricks, but you have to also work hard. Ndombele is lazy and therefore useless to any EPL team.
