Is Ange Ball catching on throughout the entire club?
The Tottenham Academy Under-18s ran riot in the FA Youth Cup last night, putting six goals past rivals Bournemouth in a cracker of a match that finally ended 6-2.
Tottenham scored four goals in the first half thanks to Olusesi and Moore, and then Irow and Ajay in the second. Coach Stuart Lewis was delighted for the players, friends, and family who got to see the win.
In total, 350 fans were at Cherry Red Records Stadium, Plough Lane, to watch the match. He told the club’s website:
On nights like this in the Youth Cup, you have to start the game fast and on the front foot and we spoke to the boys over the weekend about that, about how important the start was in terms of really getting after the ball and pressing high early on, and obviously that showed where we capitalised with two early goals and I think that settled the boys down.
