Chelsea and Tottenham played out a tense 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea took the lead in the first half when Koulibaly volleyed home at the back post from a corner, with the Blues outplaying the Lilywhites for the entire first 45 minutes.
Spurs put up a better fight in the second half after switching to a 4-4-2 formation and bringing on Richarlison. Soon after, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg equalised, despite Chelsea’s displeasure about a potential foul by Rodrigo Bentacur on Kai Havertz in the buildup.
And when Conte celebrated in front of the Chelsea bench, both the managers clashed on the sidelines, a scene that was repeated at full-time.
Tuchel refused to let Conte’s hand go during their handshake because the Spurs manager was not looking him in the eyes, resulting in a mass brawl. Both of them had to be separated away and were shown red cards.
