Ange Postecoglou’s heartwarming gesture during a recent Q&A session at a fan forum has touched the hearts of many.
The Tottenham manager, club chair Daniel Levy and Spurs captain Heung-min Son all sat down in a light conversation with the fans.
Just as the host tried to conclude the session, Ange stopped him and asked him to take the question from a young fan who had been patiently waiting for his turn.
Postecoglou told MC Nihal Arthanayake:
‘Hang on, one more question down the front. He’s got the best question,’
Owen, suffering from down syndrome could be seen visibly overjoyed by being given the chance to speak. He proceeded to ask how much they would win this season.
The Aussie responded:
‘We will do our best, everyone involved at the football club….. we understand what this team means to you all,’
‘Our role is try and make you happy and proud.. and that is what we will try and do.’
