Product placement in human form has arrived and one of the Tonight Show’s guests last night was none other than Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane MBE.
It was all very light-hearted stuff, as one might imagine. Fallon’s claim that he played FIFA felt somewhat staged, but the gloves were soon off and the pair ended up facing off over a mini fuss ball table. I’ll leave it to your imagination as to who won that one…
In case anyone’s wondering why Harry’s on TV here in the US when very few people know who he is, NBC (home of the Tonight Show) owns exclusive US broadcasting rights to the Prem so this is more or less a promotional appearance for them to build visibility.
That said, it’s a joke that Harry’s not in the Prem team of the season. He and KDB are by far the 2 best players in the league. I hope he never leaves.
