In yesterday’s pre-season friendly at Tottenham Hotspur, Spurs were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Bayern Munich, with former Tottenham star Harry Kane making a notable return to North London with his new team.
The match was a high-intensity affair, but it was the final moments that captured the most attention.
Cristian Romero showcased his fiery temperament in a dramatic confrontation involving his young teammate, Will Lankshear.
As the game neared its conclusion, Bayern’s Kingsley Coman was visibly incensed after a late challenge by Lankshear on Joao Palhinha.
Coman’s agitation quickly escalated into a heated confrontation with the 19-year-old Spurs academy striker.
Romero sprinted across the field to intervene, pushing Coman away from Lankshear.
Former Spurs stars Harry Kane and Eric Dier were among those who rushed over to help calm the situation.
Kane, in particular, stepped in to separate Romero and Coman, helping to diffuse the tension.
