The first game of this preseason for Ange Postecoglou was never going to tell us much, but despite the final score, we did learn that the new gaffer really did want Spurs to play in a more obviously attacking style.
Tottenham switched all eleven players at half-time, after the first 45 minutes which reminded everyone that Spurs conceded 65 Premier League goals last season. Clearly, the new gaffer is still getting to grips with his squad, but the willingness to commit to attack will surely be welcomed.
