England best Switzerland last night by two goals to one and that many Harry Kane was very much involved, as ever. The Spurs man had three shots on goal, all three on target, and notched up 5 touches in the Swiss penalty area.
This was an international friendly, and it was refreshing to see Gareth Southgate’s boys playing a better class of opponent, this time around.
Former Spur Kyle Walker-Peters made his debut and contributed a vital interception which ultimately resulted in an England goal.
It’s the arrogance and total disdain for the fans that shows exactly who he is.Unfortunately he still has his believers.
An utter wan*** still trying to pass himself off as a fan. He makes my stomach turn.
He’s at his level at Southampton. There was no issue of him moving on, good for him and the club doesn’t need another Winks bracket of player.
Always lauded as the master, or a similar word, of the transfer market. The man who never blinks during tough negotiations and who never backs down. What has this man cost the club in managerial, DoFs, scouting and coaching sackings, never mind his ignorance and incompetence in the transfer market? The there’s the £2 million bonus he paid himself for delivering the new stadium one year late and going 100% over budget. The man is shameless.
An unfortunate combination of ego, lack of any football nous and a penny-wise-pound-foolish mentality is how he does it.
A Levy masterclass – sell Walker, KWP and Trippier, bring in Aurier, Doherty and Royal to replace them. What an idiot, he has systematically downgraded all our RB’s. How does he manage it?
I think KWP had to leave to save his career or he would have just stagnated as a squad player, so it was the right thing to do for him, to his credit he has significantly improved mentally and physically at Southampton.
He has pointedly made the comment about how he felt wanted at Souhampton, so much about players is confidence, and it makes such a difference as he has shown.
So Kyle W-P wasn’t good enough to play for Spurs. At that time Aurier was deemed a better player and since then we have dallied with Doherty who remains unconvincing and was a strange buy given his age as well and we have committed a serious blooper by buying Emerson. That was the best piece of transfer business Barca have completed for many years. As always , our beloved chairman escapes from the criticism he so richly deserves by hiding behind his assortment of buffers.
