There is something quite exceptional about Tanguy NDombele’s touch. I swear I’ve only seen him move the ball a dozen times or so, and there’s a deftness there that you just don’t see every day.
The Frenchman had a great game. 2 shots, 1 one goal. A completed pass percentage of 85.5%. The 22-year-old won 3 of the 2 tackles he made.
The only criticism would be that Pochettino has yet to get the shape of the team right for NDombele.
But we’ve been here before with the gaffer, and Tanguy wasn’t the only victim of what was a set up that seemed to shackle us, opposed to truly terrify Aston Villa.
