Harry Kane’s aborted exit from N17 this summer has cast somewhat of a shadow, as fans have naturally been monitoring the England captain’s performances. In summary, there hasn’t been a whole lot to analyze. This season, Kane has managed just one Premier League goal and one assist, both against Newcastle United.
Against Burnley, the one-time Tottenham talisman looked woefully off the pace and his two shots at Turf Moor were distinctly out of character – to put it mildly.
I take a view that Daniel Levy’s tough stance against Manchester City’s possible interest has ultimately backfired. Perhaps a deal can be done in January, so Harry can recover his career, rather than watch it fizzle out entirely.
