Tottenham took the lead against Everton this evening through a deflected Giovani Lo Celso strike and for a second or two it did look like there would be another VAR intervention.
However, Harry Kane was onside in the build-up and the goal stood to put the lads one up against the Toffees.
In a busy penalty area, Kane and Son linked up which led to the England striker attempting a shot on goal, the ball squirmed to Lo Celso who spun and his shot ricocheted off the arm of Everton’s Michael Keane to beat Jordan Pickford.
It actually goes down as an own goal and that makes own goals joint top scorer with Kane for Spurs since the restart.
