Video | Kane remains touch and go for Sunday

It can be tough trying to read between the lines, but any coach who talks about assessing a player ‘hour by hour’ is whistling in the dark. I’d be extremely concerned if any elite player was actually being treated in this fashion.

Ryan is talking about DNA, clearly seeking to try and drum up some post-Mourinho harmony. Beyond too little too late, there is actually the business of Levy supposedly knowing what he was doing when he hired The Special One.

What time to be alive.

Donna Marie and co are really going for it now.. Good luck with trying to oust Baldy from his self appointed position.. They certainly took their time. After all the super league nonsense they all believe in fan power.. The fools.

I’m rather quite nervous about this final. This is still a Maureen prepared team really, they will have been preparing for them before he was sacked… But who will Mason pick for the first eleven and how will they perform.. I really don’t know but City have to be strong favourites.. We need Kane, he won’t be 100 percent but still he will be better than Vin.

Lucas is like a throw of the dice. We never know which Lucas will turn up.. Last game he was shocking, he couldn’t pass or do anything.. The game before or before that he was man of the match, tackling and running with the ball they couldn’t handle him.

Kane hadnt played competitive game for 9 weeks beforehand. Poch should have played Llorente Moura uptop who turned around 3-0 in 45 mins. Use Kane off bench if not fit to start. Gonna be a tough ask no matter who starts, at least lets go with 11 who are fit. COYS

The Levy logic should never be underestimated.

What about another levy conspiracy….I think he would rather want to sacrifice this egg cup and try to make Top 4…Thus he does’nt play Kane and thus gives him another week to recover and be fit for the last 5 games and give us a good chance to make Top 4. Just saying and personally I would love to win both cup and Top 4.

Dropping hatrick hero Lucas for Kane was one of the worst managerial decisions poch ever made. Many players lost respect for him after that. They thought it was fukcry and they’re Right

Ryan must’ve joined Tottenham when levy first arrived. Nuff managers with different styles he’s worked with. He’s no mug. Him Powell & ledley won’t be afraid of pep&city.

At the time Lucas was the choice. This time round probably not.I’d actually play Vinicius.

Lucas has come off the boil form wise, he maybe more use as an impact sub. Feel vinicius should start if kane not 100% and even Bale as 10 in a free role with bergwijn on the right to make things a little more solid that side

Ryan did well in the presser. There is more to this lad (eye movement is good to watch). I don’t think Ryan is of a different mind to who should wear the shirt longterm than the 2 previous incumbents

i’m one of them those who believed and still believe Lucas should have started that final and I base that argument on 2 reasons 1st Lucas put us in the final single handedly 2nd in general in football you never change a winning team and formula so for me Lucas definitely should have started I did not mind Kane coming in later stages and about Sunday we have now Vinicius as a striker therefore is different place and time is not about Lucas cheers.

There are people on here who believe we should have played Lucas in that game. I assume they would believe that we should play Lucas on Sunday

Potential repeat of the CL final. 40% fit Kane over any 100% fit player …. Standard

He will play. Even with no legs. Without him the team is crap.
