The Newcastle goal happened in slow-motion and the equaliser from Kane which followed some 90seconds later was also a less than thrilling action.
It’s been such a sluggish start to this game, and this tempo certainly looks to have suited Newscastle better than Spurs, who have also struggled with a thick and heavy midfield.
Maybe the international break has caused a few minds to wander, but Tottenham need to wake up.
