Video: José Lets Slip Just How Thin Bale’s Fitness Is

At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, Mourinho may believe that Bale trusts him, however, does José trust Gareth? From what was let slip by the gaffer, the notion that the 31-year-old’s minutes are being managed is somewhat of an understatement.

Please don’t get me wrong, I want Bale to succeed, but fans need to know that an extension of the loan is potentially a very high-risk deal. Shouting ‘Bale is back’ is a very cosmetic approach to life.

The new lane will never become a white elephant. It’s a money making machine. Don’t worry ENIC won’t be nicking any of it.
Big big dough gonna make there.

We can pay good wages now. Why do you want our wage bill to be higher than arsenal’s?

So what’s all the stress with people about Bale’s wages all about then? With Bale we still pay about 50m a year less on wages than that lot down the Seven Sisters Road ffs…

13 managers with no money to back them (you know this) we couldn’t complete with the oil money people. (You know this too) we were building a stadium (you know this too) domestic cups weren’t a priority as in no money in’m you know this too. Levy went about it his way (you know this too) we’ll make up for them years.

I will only make my point now, I won’t be drawn into anything other than arguing or discussing the actual points.

If anyone wants to start slagging people of they don’t even know on a personal level then they’re on their own, sitting on their own little cloud in the infinite void that is cyberspace!

About two years and we aren’t even in the Champions League when we were in it without even having a home ground for two whole seasons!

An upturn needs to happen soon otherwise the new place will become more of a white elephant, unless it’s backed up on the pitch…

Of course they will, if he club is being run correctly by the owners and achieving what the fans crave then who’s going to be moaning? That’s the actual point of ‘moaning’ it in the first place, expecting better!

Dear oh dear…

All of that would make sense if people were actually slagging the club off, have never seen that on here, but then again I am able to comprehend logical thought.

It’s the owners that get it in the neck when things that are obviously linked to spending on the team and choices made at board level are holding the team back.

These people hold a controlling percentage of the club’s shares, they are not the club and there is no sane reason why anybody would jump to the defence of an investment company. None at all.

Pretending people are slagging off the club might give you some ammunition to use against others but pretending is all it is.

The owners are not the club and should be criticised like any other faceless group of shareholders, when it becomes appropriate…

Yes but none of this financial anxiety would trouble any of the other wealthiest clubs in the world.

It’s only in ‘Levy Land” that all of this becomes a ‘worry’. Not as much to stuff under the mattress, before of course making the monthly debt repayments on 1bn!

I have never belittled the club, total bo**ocks and you know it.

I want the club to go places and I am within my rights to say if I don’t think our owners are ambitious enough on the pitch.

13 mangers, 22 years and one League Cup (13 years ago) sees me about right dunnit.

ENIC cheques still landing on your doormat every month are they?

Squabbling like hens in a coop.
The point is, and I’m sure HH will agree, is that it’s taken 6 months – that is to say 6 million quid for our portion of his wages – for the lad to be properly considered as a PL regular.
It’s obvious what he brings when he’s on form, but this is like a trip to the bookies. You have to look at what he can potentially contribute and ask if it’s worth that financial outlay. Then assess the risk; what happens if we keep him next season and we’re stuck paying out that cabbage for a crock?
Gareth is not a normal situation. He belongs to Madrid, he’s chronically injury prone, and his wages are outrageous. A quid is a profit if we sell Kane. We can’t sell Bale.

Not sure how stating that GB & HK are injury prone is slating or belittling the club. It’s a statement of fact. An inconvenient fact to you maybe, but it is a fact.

You seem to think it’s ok to come on the thread and be obnoxious to people. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Well your bully boy tactics won’t work with me. I’m as entitled to an opinion as are you or any other contributor to the thread. It’s an opinion it’s not personal. Get over yourself.

“The pain”… 6 goals in 6 games, finally showing form, linking up with Kane beautifully, running past people. Helping us get our biggest wins of the prem season so far. Didn’t you like his goals?… If he was fragile he wouldn’t be playing. Burnley are physical, they have a few bruisers, he ran riot man.

I chat sh*t …( pot kettle!) so tell me brains, Have GB and HK not had careers dogged with injury ? Do we not, in HK’s case get to Xmas and wonder when the inevitable injury will occur. Same when GB was here first time round. He had a regular hamstring injury that kept him sidelined. He had a fair few injury’s at Real too.

If you think that’s chatting sh*t then clearly your comment (s) as usual are to stir a row. You won’t get one out of me. Go pick on someone else. East Stand normally bests you, perhaps go try your luck there again.

What Bale produces in 45 mins is enough, then Mourinho can resort to his favoured defensive set up without him. Hell of a tough month ahead with international matches on top, every player will be needed.

Minutes in a game , with the right rest/preparation Must be getting him back to a level – albeit not the young version of Bale . That aside players like bale have to adapt their game as they get older (players that rely on pace)he still has so much quality on the ball.

cant help but think Levy will use this season and his condition to potentially get him next year at a further reduced wage.

Madrid/ Bale have 1 year left – which neither wants(apart from bale wanting the cash- who wouldn’t ). I don’t think Bale wants to be anywhere else than Spurs .

what do we reckon the outcome will be ?
