Video Interview: Troy Parrott

By The Boy -

A cracking piece of footage here for those fans interested in Tottenham’s “youth product” from the Hotspur Way academy.

The 18-year old is without doubt an exciting prospect, and this evening’s international friendly game against New Zealand will provide a useful platform to further impress Mauricio Pochettino.

Poch has given the young Irishman a handful of opportunities to play with Spurs senior players so far, in the preseason Audi Cup competition, the International Champions Cup and the Premier League.

Harry Kane beware, Parrott is another goal-scoring obsessive.

Yes he’s looked very tidy.I’ve always thought he is more effective playing further forward,he seems to think more positively.

I’d have them practicing pinging long balls until the whistle.

I wonder how a game of no offside would look nowadays

Great as it is for Kane to get his hat-trick,Montenegro are rubbish. But even their couple of chances have given our defence problems. We won’t learn anything about this side until they play a half decent team.Southgate must realise this.

I’ve seen some good balls from Winks so far. Looks in better form for England than Spurs at the moment.

If only we had a midfield to supply Kane.

If only we had some fullbacks that could actually supply Kane and give us some width .

Poch should play him more…if we are going to be crap this year anyway drop the contract rebels and play the youth….as long as we don’t go down, Levy buys 1 or 2 in January and 3-4 in the summer and Poch WANTS to stay then let him rebuild and forget this season, apart from the CL and FA cup…..
I mentioned Parrots contract as tongue in cheek really due to the current situation and because he’s Irish i’m sure he’s a Liverpool fan…
