Dele Alli’s fall from grace has been unbelievable.
He was once regarded as one of England’s most promising young players and was often compared with the likes of young Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard due to his goal-scoring prowess.
However, recent years has not been kind on him. His form dipped at Spurs and soon he was not making the team and failed to impress any his last few managers.
Eventually he was sold to Everton where he was expected to restart his career but he failed to cut it at the Merseyside club as well and he joined Turkish club Besiktas.
They faced Sanliurfa in the Turkish Cup, and had to come back from a 2-0 deficit to win and advance to the next round.
While the score was 2-0 in favour of the visitors, Alli was substituted after only 30 minutes, and the former Spurs star was met with boos from his own fans.
