Why oh why both Alli and Bale were not brought on at some point against Fulham is mystifying????

Let’s not be delusional when take Kane and Son out the equation plus a couple of others really we are a very average side punching above our weight!

Apologies for being the grim reaper, anything else a bonus our only hope of ending our long trophy drought this season likely hinges on beating the permanent holders in the Final to win the Carabs Cup!!

By failing to score that all important second goal (due to our deadly duo fluffing their lines) l totally blame Jose for this all too familiar dreadful draw both in terms of team selection and the timing of his subs when as I said on the previous blog you could sense an inevitable equaliser coming long before it arrived!!

Too many of these results against fodder.

Judging by his own high standards then Jose is doing poorly. The league position is just not good enough.

I haven’t sen last nights game but i bet it was predictable 5 ninutes into the second half.

The league was winnable this year but our brainfarts cant grasp it.

Alli gone in January. Kane, Son and Lloris gone in the summer. But Levy has his beloved Jose and Bale. We are screwed!

When he took over I thought even he would struggle to get a time out of this squad of players. He’s done well ish so far but team selections at home are often just plain wrong.

Winning dirty is only effective when you actually win!

The performance tonight was lack-lustre, flat footed and held no sense of urgency. The passing was atrocious both in midfield and the hoofing from the back. It was reminiscent of a relegation side grabbing a goal and then holding on for dear life.

This is not the first time either. We sit deep with a plan to attack on the break; if a break is not on we revert to passing along the back four who will eventually run out of options (or patience) and loft something forward hoping we can win a 50-50, which in reality with defenders facing the ball is more like a 70-30.

Under pressure, the defence hoofs it forward on an anywhere-but-here basis or finds row Z. We do not seem capable of holding the ball in midfield and with Harry dropping in, we have no target man to aim for with anything not on the floor.

After 10 minutes of the second half, I doubt any of us suspected the outcome to be anything other than what actually happened…. its sort in our script.

Dour but effective winning football I can tolerate, but this as with so many games this season, satisfies neither getting dogged results (aka ManU) nor artistic footballing performance………I can live with either but we are getting neither!

That photo above: His expression is right, but the t-shirt only requires the first 3 lines.

Pity he didn’t react to what was patently coming in the 2nd half.
