Video Evidence: Gareth Bale’s 5 Best Dribbling Actions Against Burnley

Gareth Bale has been picking up rave notices since his performance yesterday, and it’s difficult to find cause for complaint in a game that he added 2 goals and an assist.

It was reported by Jonathan Veal of PA Sport after the game that The 31-year-old was ‘walking gingerly’, so it remains to be seen how soon we will Bale again, and what condition.

José Mourinho believed that Bale was no longer flat, which is somewhat of an understatement, so we can only hope that Hotspur Way’s physio room can work some magic. A non-static Bale is infinitely preferable to a static one.

The difference his very presence gives to the players is unquestionable, Bale is a massive boost to a team that looked rejuvenated by him alone, and then gives a performance of sheer class, even I feel inspired.

Keane did speak some truth and I generally like his honesty, but just felt he was going well OTT and just trying to be argumentative with Jamie, who did at least stand his ground.
Doherty has been very disappointing but like many others I’d been really impressed with him at Wolves, though most people suddenly seem to be criticising his signing.

6 months it has taken for Bale to get fit and look like he has more than a jog in him. Who is our conditioning coach, Shirley Crabtree (one for the oldies)!

Yes he appeared to get a knock and it remains to be seen whether he is available on Thursday. We definitely need what he adds to our attacking threat. What was really exciting to see yesterday was the awareness Son, Kane and Bale had of each other’s movement. If these trio can get a run of matches together then we just may be able to mount a punt at a top four slot or nick the WAFA Cup to grab a CL spot. Also Bales presence definitively lifts Son and even Ndombele who I think needs to feel he has top players around him on the pitch, especially with his mates at PSG whispering sweet nothings in his ear. The tactics yesterday were positive from the start. We all know we have a very suspect defence so we have to attack with intensity and keep the opposition in their own half as much as possible. A front line of Son, Kane and Bale should force most opposition coaches to take a more cautious approach against us and if we can gain control of the match then we can start rotating around 65 mins with people like Dele, Lamela and Bergwijn. Keep Dier, Davies, Winks, Sissoko and Docherty as far away from matches as possible. These guys have cost us so many goals and points this season. It is like having a Real Madrid front line and a Hackney Marshes Shepard and Dog pub defence behind them

Im sure you’ll do summin on the Roy Keane and Jamie Redknapp debate H, but Keane was spot on as usual, it was hilarious “Doherty?! Really??!”

That’s EXACTLY what I said in the summer.🙃
