I never thought I’d say this, but it’s a pity that this incident wasn’t referred to VAR. This was the best clip I could rustle up, but certain factors don’t require high definition quality.
⚫️ Matt missed the ball – he also missed the player
⚫️ The Leeds’ technical area couldn’t have been closer. No one appeal.
⚫️ Not one Leeds player appealed.
⚫️ Matt’s left foot was on the floor when the right leg swung in.
Perhaps I’m missing something and an action that doesn’t achieve anything at all is dangerous-play?
