This video just appeared on the Spurs Twitter feed, and it occurred to me that the gaffer’s reaction was a little, well, non-existent. One fan suggested that the coaching staff were checking for off-side on a tablet, but that doesn’t quite make sense as the TV images would only show what was happening in the stadium, and the goal was given immediately, it wasn’t offside. Who knows what was going through anyone’s mind at the time, but what I do know is that a technical area cam would certainly produce some great reaction footage!
