Video: Christian Eriksen’s ‘Assist’ For Denmark

By The Boy -

The weight of the world must have been lifted for Christian Eriksen yesterday as he swapped his Tottenham shirt for a Danish one.

The 27-year-old’s ball was either an inspired piece of magic, or a speculative punt which just happened to find its way in front of Yussuf Poulsen. The last goal (84th minute) proved to be the winner against Switzerland in Euro 2020 qualifiers.

Sunday sees a shedload of Spurs players in action, action the Harry Hotspur blog will be keeping an eye out for, to bring you highlights.

Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen – Belgium away Euro 2020 qualifier against Kazakhstan – kick-off 2pm
Juan Foyth and Erik Lamela – Argentina friendly against Ecuador in Spain – kick-off 3pm
Ben Davies – Wales home Euro 2020 qualifier against Croatia – kick-off 7.45pm
Victor Wanyama – Kenya home friendly against Mozambique – kick-off 2pm
Serge Aurier – Ivory Coast friendly against DR Congo in France – kick-off 6pm
Anthony Georgiou – Cyprus home Euro 2020 qualifier against Russia – kick-off 5pm
Maximus Tainio – Finland Under-19s home friendly against Sweden – kick-off 4pm

Sarcasm probably is the lowest form of wit but I salute you sir. Hope the roll away pitch gets stuck and may Levy have many sleepless nights and when asleep have nightmares as strong as the one he has given us.

Tottenham fans have paid for the an NFL & Venue Stadium…..I think Levy owes us at least one trophy soon….remember, a Lodge, a Training Ground, a Stadium and 400 home development plot down the road all paid for by SPURS FANS, not a penny from Levy’s own purse…let that sink in….

According to dybala he was upset at being linked to a load of clubs that he didnt want to play for.. We were probably the lowest club he was linked with.. I suspect levy enquired and was quickly shot down.. If poch does have the pull to snare him then happy days hes a top player.. This plus 2 or 3 more quality additions, with eriksen gone would give us a new spine we desperately need… The sad truth though is 98 percent of juventus players wouldnt take a pay cut to leave a giant serial winning club to come to a club that never wins jack shit… I live in hope, rather than confidence.

Keanes’ relentless criticising comments on Rose haven’t gone unnoticed , well not by me anyway, as I agree with him.

Dybala would be such a coup that I just cant see it happening, same with the boy Fernandes from Lisbon.

Id love to have seen ossie and villa play. And Hoddle. Old clips are great but seeing them in the flesh and seeing that era of football would have been eye opening.

Nonsense. Everybody knows facilities and shiney NFL stadiums with fold away football pitches equal success.
