Video Analysis: Who Was a Fault For The United Goals?

By The Boy -

All the goals came after we lost Lucas Moura, Gio Lo Celso, and Tanguy Ndombele. Just ponder that.

Fred’s goal was virtually impossible to combat because they broke so quickly and the rebound from the initial save became a gift.

Greenwood’s cross epitomized what dynamic decisions can make happen. Pinged it in and Cavani’s header was pretty damn sublime.

Greenwood’s goal begs the question, what was Dier doing so far out of position when the United attack began? He was out to the right and United then came through to the right of him.

CONCLUSION

Mourinho doesn’t have the right tools for the job. Remove his tools and he’s lost. Just as Pochettino was lost – and then subsequently sacked.

Tell me otherwise.

The bottom line is Tanguy & lo no show dont have the energy to last 90 minutes…so if both start both need to come off which leaves no margin for error if either anyone else isnt playing well or we’re under the cosh or needing to chase the game. How players costing that much money, being paid so well cant last 90 minutes is beyond me…. Why can Kane, Son, Moura regularly last 90 minutes & put a stint in but not Tanguy, or GLC?

He is not expensive as you think and the last news was that Spurs offers him concrete deal and they are front runners in that sense if I have to pick I will pick the Jose’s choice the man he requested from Levy last summer Milan Skriniar I say back the manager instead of throwing money left and right for useless players look at Gedson Bale and the ones in the bench the likes of Dele Winks Bergwijn Vinicius can you tell me what they have contributed to the team for the whole season for god’s sake we have Danny Rosé in our payroll still that is criminal and waste of wealth and people telling me Levy is shrewd business man any other company they would have given him p45 long time ago cheers.

I can think of several examples where he had distanced himself from disappointing results, same coach different players from last week for example.
He has form for losing the dressing room it happened at Chelsea and Man Utd before and it appears to be happening now at Spurs

Yes mate, alot of focus is on our defence which has been poor, but not many are focusing on our midfield which has put pressure on our defence by not defending, possessing, attacking, and generally bossing themselves. Only Pierre and Lucas have been going for it, sometimes Coco… Everyone else has been frustrating me immensely.

He has said repeatedly this season that he is responsible as well as all the players. We win together we lose together he says. The sad truth is half our squad is just not good enough. He isn’t pointing fingers at individuals post match, personally if I was playing like some of these guys then I would expect to be called out. Toothless, no fight, too many fairies in the squad.. Maureen isn’t going to call half the squad out, he is no fool.

Probably too expensive for us and I think Real Madrid really want him. Who would you pick in his shoes?

35 odd too.. He doesn’t have much longer at the top.. He’s already lost pace. He was rapid ten years ago.

He is.. But we have to stop teams getting crosses in.. Our wingers and full backs need to work harder together to stop this… One of the first things one learns in schoolboy football is to block those crosses, stop runners from getting to the by line, stop the problem at source. Crosses and pull backs are far too dangerous.

Ha ha.. We should try Levy at centre back..

Of course he doesn’t have the right tools… But he chose to rely on Dier who is a spoon, opposed to Toby who is a shovel.. Dier shouldn’t be anywhere near that starting line up.. I could forgive his awful form before he blamed it on the team. Pointing the blame at others and not accepting responsibility tells me he’s a coward. Hiding. A shirker. Winners don’t talk like that.

As an observer you’re not very observant. You’re not allowed to question anything Aitch says. It’s everyone else’s fault. Period.

Personally I’m of the belief top managers either 1) find new uses for tools they don’t want, or 2) Stay far away from tools that are busted beyond repair.

So why Mourinho persists with Dier if a mystery. Same coach, different players. Lol.

On over £300,000 a week, can’t see it happening.

Exactly what will happen. Two or three bargain basement or loan signings and that’s our squad done for next season.

There have been 16 different back four combinations this season. That alone tells you everything you need to know.

One worry is that the midfield were out on their feet and that’s with no midweek Europa League game and against a team which had played midweek.

I know we have played more games than any other team, unfortunately United have played the same number, fifty.

We just don’t look a fit team, every game we almost always disappear after half time. We can’t put in a consistent ninety minutes, it’s slow starts, manic finishes, and disappearing acts for parts of games.

What amazes me is there is 7 games left in the season and our special one manager doesn’t know his first eleven players is just he was experimenting the whole season to shuffle around and the next thing he knows the season is over, Exclusive only for Spurs you couldn’t make it up.

Interesting observer of your posts Harry and always look out for their insights. Whereas I don’t dispute the fact we need a clear out and certain players have run their course, I do question it seems your fairly unwavering support of Jose considering what he was brought into do.

Our defence has gone backwards or at least our ability to hold onto leads, we arguably won’t even qualify for Europe and we will be lucky to win the Carabao cup (which even if we did I don’t think it proves much) Do you absolve Jose of any responsibility and place it solely on the fact he doesn’t have players with the right mentality for the job? Surely one of the reasons you hire a “top” manager is the fact that they can get more out of mediocre resources?

Yes we had some success at the start of the season, and I imagine most of us would have taken the playing style if the winning results continued but in 2021 have we turned up in any of our big games?

Right now we have a team which appears to lack structure, any sort of defined playing style or is attractive to watch. Disinterested players being led by a coach who appears to be saying “its not me, its them” If your leader, boss etc can not motivate his team I’d say that is fairly damming regardless of his charges. I wanted Jose to work but its appears his lost his spark and his ability to get teams playing to his way. It seems far too convenient not to take any responsibility, and I think his time has almost run his course for us. Hand on heart do you think he can turn it around?

Most of the games are won in the midfield and the defence was not existence Dier was just mere spectator he was just looking how they were scoring the United strikers he had no clue where they were funny.

In my humble opinion Daniel Levy was at fault for all 3 goals.

What worries me for next season is Jose stays but can only sign freebies as we have no money to spend. Roll the Jose is signing headlines all the deadbeat over the hill don’t care but at least they are free players that Danny loves.

I have to blame dier for all three goals just because he is dire.

I would imagine Cavani must wish he could play against our defence every week.I have always liked Cavani who’s a quality striker, but he can’t have had many easier games in his career.

Perhaps when Kane leaves in the summer we could sign him up for a year,he would certainly get the games, which i understand is his concern about staying at Utd.No signing on fee Daniel.
