Looking over the boy’s stats from last night, whilst the 31-year-old might love playing for his country, it’s difficult to level a charge at him that he really turned it on and played above the level which he has for Tottenham.
Gareth’s total successful actions against the Belgians was 41% which is not just terrible, it’s worse than his worst showing since he’s been with us.
