Troy Parrott sat with Tottenham fans instead of his teammates during Wednesday’s 1-0 defeat by RB Leipzig.
The teenage striker, who many supporters had hoped would be leading the attack in the absence of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, watched on from the North Stand’s top tier as Spurs struggled against the Bundesliga highflyers.
Other unavailable players, including Moussa Sissoko, sat together in the more sanitised surroundings of the West Stand.

Parrott took to Instagram to show off his view – which would have cost a normal punter £52 (£26 for junior, which he technically still is as he was just 17 when the season began) for this Category B fixture.
The cheapest adult ticket for the visit of Leipzig was £43, although these were very limited. The most expensive non-hospitality seats went for £95, with others priced at £80, £72, £68 and £65.
Parrott captioned a short pre-match video from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with: “COYS”.
Parrott has only played five minutes of first-team football since Jose Mourinho arrived in November.
