Tottenham warned they will not get Serie A target cheaply

A report out of Italy is claiming that Napoli isn’t in a position to sell any of their players at a discount, including Arkadiusz Milik.

The Poland star is apparently a target for Jose Mourinho’s side ahead of the summer transfer window and Tottenham was hoping to sign him for a discounted fee reports IlMattino.it.

However, the same report has claimed that the Naples side has more than enough money in the bank and they will not be pressured into allowing any of their star men to leave cheaply because of the Coronavirus pandemic that has hit so many clubs financially.

Milik has largely been a backup striker since he joined Napoli from Ajax in 2016, and he will have just a season left on his current deal at the end of this season.

He is reportedly not interested in signing a new contract with the Italians given that he has largely been a backup striker since he joined them, and Spurs were looking to take advantage of his contract situation and take him to London.

However, the Lilywhites have been warned not to think that Napoli would be forced to sell their players for a cheap fee.

The report further claims Napoli have almost 150 million Euros in the bank and although they expect to suffer some financial losses, they would still ask for clubs to pay the full value for the player when the transfer window reopens.
