Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing up a bosman move for Gabriel Osho.
The North London club have had a great first season under the leadership of Ange Postecoglou. They are currently fighting for a place in the top four as they look to secure Champions League football for next season.
While the focus is on finishing the season in the best possible way, Tottenham have already started to plan for the upcoming summer transfer window. They are looking at ways to further bolster their squad and are plotting a bargain move for Luton Town’s Gabriel Osho as per a report by GiveMeSport.
Spurs are impressed by the 25-year-old centre-back’s performances in the ongoing season and are interested in acquiring his services. Since the arrival of Postecoglou at the club, the North London club have already made two major defensive signings. They signed Micky Van de Ven in the summer and Radu Dragusin in the January transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou wants defensive depth
The Australian boss wants to add another centre-back to the mix in the upcoming summer transfer window and he is plotting a move for the Luton defender whose contract runs out at the end of the season.
He has been a consistent performer for the recently promoted outfit and his performances have put him on the radar of multiple Premier League clubs.
Spurs needed a deeper squad if they secure Champions League qualification and therefore a move for Osho makes sense. Signing a quality player on a free transfer would ensure they are in line with the Premier League financial rules and regulations as well.
In addition to that, the centre-back will be counted in the homegrown category as well. Apart from him, Spurs are keeping tabs on Lloyd Kelly and Tosin Adarabioyo as well.
