Tottenham are close to hijacking the move for Leeds United’s Archie Gray.
Spurs have been after him for quite some time now but it was Brentford who reportedly came very close to signing him.
It was reported that the player has agreed terms with Brentford and was allowed to have a medical with them. However, Leeds went on to surprisingly reject a £35m offer from the Bees.
Ben Jacobs and Adam Pope reported last night that despite Brentford’s advances, Spurs are looking to hijack the deal for the player.
And as per the latest update from Tottenham expert Alasdair Gold, Spurs are expected to reach an agreement with to sign Gray.
Sky Sports have also reiterated the same, claiming that the player has already completed the first part of his medical with final negotiations now ongoing with Spurs.
It adds that the player is expected to sign for Spurs today.
It is looking increasingly likely that Spurs will complete his signing.
