Tottenham target misses training in strongest hint yet that he wants a move

Wilfried Ndidi in action.

In what might be an indication that Leicester City is planning for life after him, Wilfried Ndidi is yet to resume training with his teammates.

The midfielder has been one of the best in the Premier League for some seasons now and he is one player that any Premier League team would be happy to have on their side.

He has been linked with a move to Tottenham as Jose Mourinho continues to strengthen his team (Soccerlink).

The Nigerian is a key member of Brendan Rodgers’ side, but the Foxes always sell their players when their asking price is met.

All Nigerian Soccer is reporting that the Nigerian is yet to join his teammates for preseason and he has missed their latest preseason game as they prepare for a season that will see them compete in four competitions.

Tottenham have been strengthening their team in this transfer window.

The Lilywhites want to end their trophy drought at the end of next season and have backed Mourinho in the transfer market so far.

They have signed Joe Hart on a free transfer and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton.

Adding Ndidi to the current set up can see them challenge for multiple silverware next season.

Did you not say the same about Maguire a year ago and Chilwell weeks ago? Leicester get good prices, but are known for selling their best players.Kante,Mahrez,Maguire,Chilwell and I will include Drinkwater who was good at the time.Leicester have a great scouting dept and find some great players but every year they sell one of their best.Unless Spurs sold N’dombele they couldn’t afford Ndidi anyway.

Ndidi and PEH in front of a back 3 or 4 would be so strong. Lo Celso just in front. Be amazing. Ndidi – who won’t come – would be our top buy

There is not the slightest chance that Ndidi will join Spurs 😂

“The Lilywhites have backed Mourinho in the transfer market”, suggests we have bought 4 top range players! Now, if we get a striker, left back, right back, centre half and a 10 to replace Dele I’ll get excited. Ndidi is someone who would work well with Hojbjerg and a step up from Winks and Sissoko (One would have to leave). However, Leicester have got rid of Chilwell, I can’t see a fire sale happening. They pay well, Spurs are not in the Ch Lg and Leicester finished ahead of us and wouldn’t want to sell to a direct rival.
