Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been linked with a move away from the club for a while now.
The 29-year-old is in the final year of his contract with the north London club and he could look to leave them and join a big club capable of winning major trophies.
Kane is yet to win a single trophy at club level and he will look to move on this summer. Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on signing the player and Tottenham are now lining up potential replacements.
Journalist Rudy Galetti has now revealed to GiveMeSport that Spurs are on the verge of making their move to sign Dusan Vlahovic as a replacement for England international and they could take their first steps to initiate talks.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, he said: “As just told, Tottenham are targeting Dusan Vlahovic as replacement number one in the event of the farewell of Harry Kane.
“The Serbian player could leave Juventus in the summer transfer window for around €80m and the Bianconeri are absolutely open to listen to proposals for him.
“Spurs are on the verge of taking the first steps to better understand the room for negotiation with the Italian club, because the price tag is considered too high. Tottenham would like to lower the request during talks.”
Apparently, the Serbian international striker is valued at €80 million and it remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to pay his asking price.
The 23-year-old has struggled to hit the ground running since his move to Juventus and he scored just 14 goals across all competitions last season. He has the technical and physical attributes to succeed in the Premier League and Vlahovic could be a key player for Tottenham in the coming seasons.
A fresh start in England could be just what he needs right now and the Serbian could be tempted to join Tottenham this summer.
Replacing Kane will be difficult and therefore Tottenham should look to improve their squad all across the pitch, should the England international depart.
