Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Brazilian midfielder Luis Guilherme.
A report from 90 min claims that Spurs are ‘taking a keen interest’ in the 17-year-old central midfielder and they could look to make a move for him in the coming months.
They are not the only Premier League club keen on the player and the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are keeping tabs on the player as well. Guilherme is highly rated in Brazil and he has a bright future ahead of him. He could develop into a quality long-term prospect for Tottenham if they managed to secure his services.
The 17-year-old is already a first-team player for Palmeiras and he will be tempted if the top Premier League clubs come calling for him in the upcoming windows. The opportunity to play in English football can be an attractive option for most players and the Brazilian could be attracted to the idea of playing in the premier league.
Tottenham could use the quality central midfielder in the coming seasons especially if Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is sold.
While Guilherme might not be ready for the Premier League immediately, he has all the attributes to be a success in English football. Furthermore, Tottenham might be able to sign him for a reasonable price right now before the price soars due to hype.
