Tottenham have ‘positioned themselves’ to sign 22-goal star, ‘concrete’ offer submitted

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Union SG attacker Mohammed Amoura at the end of the season.

A report from DZ Foot claims that Tottenham and West Ham have submitted ‘concrete’ offers to sign the highly-rated Algerian. It will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with Union SG in the coming weeks.

The Belgian club are holding out for a fee of around €20 million, and it will be interesting to see whether Spurs are prepared to pay up. The report reveals that West Ham have offered €15 million for the attack. However, Tottenham’s offer remains undisclosed.

The 23-year-old attacker can operate as a centre forward as well as a winger. His versatility will be an added bonus for Tottenham if they can get the deal done. The opportunity to play in the Premier League will be an attractive option for the youngster and he will hope that the two clubs can secure an agreement this summer.

Mohamed Amoura could be a bargain

He has been a key player for Union SG this season and the Belgian outfit will not want to let him leave for cheap. Tottenham will have to meet their asking price of €20 million if they want to sign the player.

The 23-year-old is a phenomenal talent with a bright future ahead of him and he could easily justify the investment in the coming seasons. €20 million could prove to be a major bargain for him in the long term if he manages to adapt to English football and hit the ground running.

Tottenham need to add more quality and depth to their attack and the 23-year-old could be a flexible option for them. Tottenham are pushing for Champions League qualification and they will need a deeper squad to deal with the increased number of games. Signing a talented young player like Amoura could prove to be a wise decision.
