Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has sent a message to his teammates after their dominant win over Manchester United.

The North London club secured a fifth-place finish last season under Ange Postecoglou. They made significant efforts to further strengthen their squad in the summer. But the results didn’t go their way in the initial phase of the new seasons. Despite dominating the proceedings against the majority of the opposition, they were not able to make it count.

However, it now seems to be a story of the past as they have won each of their last four outings across competitions. In their last outing against Manchester United away from home, Tottenham were the dominant force and they even secured all three points. Following their emphatic 3-0 win, star forward Dejan Kulusevski suggested this is where their season really starts for them.

While speaking on ViaPlay, the Swedish international said (via SportWitness): “This feeling you have now, that is the one you want. That’s why you play football. We showed how good we are.”

“We have four straight (wins) now, and this is when our season really starts.”

Kulusevski might only have three goal contributions so far but he is a key part of Ange Postecoglou’s first team. While he might be just 24, he is one of their experienced campaigners. The Swedish forward played a big part in their win over Manchester United. He scored the second goal of the night when he managed to beat Angre Onana from close range.

He was delighted with the win and suggested that this result at Old Trafford will kick-start the season for the North London club. They might have been inconsistent at the start but this is an opportunity for them to turn things around. The former Juventus star has urged his teammates to carry on the good work as they look to secure a top-four spot and end the club’s trophy drought.
