Tottenham right-back Pedro Porro is drawing considerable interest from top European clubs, leading Spurs to set a significant £80 million valuation on the player, according to Football Insider.

Both Manchester City and Real Madrid have emerged as potential suitors for the Spanish defender, who has solidified himself as one of the Premier League’s best in his position since arriving at the club.

Manchester City have identified Pedro Porro as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker

Porro’s performances have made him a key figure at Tottenham, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Manchester City.

The English champions are actively seeking a long-term replacement for veteran right-back Kyle Walker, who is set to turn 35 at the end of the ongoing season.

Interestingly, this isn’t Porro’s first link to Manchester City. The Spanish full-back initially signed for City in 2019 but didn’t make any appearances for the club, instead spending time on loan with various clubs, including Real Valladolid and Sporting CP.

During his time at Sporting, Porro’s career took off, as he played a crucial role in helping the team win the Primeira Liga and Taça da Liga.

His standout performances led Tottenham to secure him on loan in January 2023 before making the move permanent in the summer for a reported €40 million fee.

Real Madrid also interested in Pedro Porro

Real Madrid are also keen on the 25-year-old as they search for a replacement for Dani Carvajal, who has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Porro’s prior experience in La Liga, with Girona and Real Valladolid, makes him an appealing option for Los Blancos.

In fact, it was recently reported that Spurs have already started hunting for replacements for Porro as they expect the their star defender to leave in the upcoming transfer windows.

The player himself has not ruled out a future move to Madrid, after recently expressing his readiness to play for the Spanish giants.

Porro remains a consistent force at Spurs, contributing three goals and seven assists in 35 appearances last season.

With his contract running until 2028, Tottenham are standing firm on their £80 million valuation, signalling that any club interested in signing the right-back will need to meet this substantial asking price.
