Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Gabri Veiga and it will be interesting to see if they can secure an agreement with Al-Ahli for his signature.

As per Fichajes, the Spanish midfielder could be on his way back to Europe. Football and Tottenham have ‘shown interest’ in securing his signature. The 22-year-old could prove to be a ‘key piece’ in the Tottenham midfield.

He will add goals and creativity to the side and Spurs could use more depth in the midfield. They will need a deeper squad to do well across multiple competitions, and the technically gifted Spanish midfielder would be the ideal long-term investment for them. He was heavily linked with a move to the Premier League during his time at Celta Vigo.

It remains to be seen whether the Saudi Arabian outfit are prepared to sanction his departure. it might be difficult for Tottenham to convince them with a lucrative proposal. They do not need to sell key players for money. Perhaps, the move would be easier to pull off if the midfielder decides to force an exit.

It will be interesting to see how the situation unfolds. the opportunity to play in the Premier League could be attractive for the talented young midfielder. He is versatile enough to slot into the role of a central midfielder as well as the number ten. He could push James Maddison for the starting spot if he joins Spurs.

Clubs from Italy are keen on securing his signature as well, and Tottenham must act quickly if they want to get the deal done. The 22-year-old will improve with coaching and experience, and he could develop into a future star. Veiga would be a solid long-term investment for the English club.
