Tottenham showing ‘strong interest’ in 24-year-old attacker, ‘willing to pay’ £33 million

Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing the Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.

His performances have caught the attention of the North London club and a report from Fichajes claims that Tottenham are one of the clubs most interested in securing his signature. The report further states that Tottenham are showing ‘strong interest’ in the 24-year-old, and they would be ‘willing to pay’ around £33 million to sign the player.

Semenyo is a right-sided winger who is versatile enough to operate anywhere across the front three. He could prove to be a quality addition to the Spurs attack.

Semenyo has started the season well and he has scored three goals in six Premier League matches this season. He could be tempted to join a big club like Tottenham in the near future and it remains to be seen whether the North London outfit come forward with an official proposal to sign him.

Tottenham must improve their squad if they want to match up to the likes of Manchester City and Arsenal in the coming seasons. More depth in the side will help them compete across multiple fronts.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Semenyo will want to play for a big club capable of winning trophies and moving to Tottenham will be a step up for him. He will look to prove himself in European football if he manages to join them in the near future.

It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can agree on a reasonable fee with the Cherries for the highly-rated winger.
