Tottenham set to lose out to Premier League new boys in race to sign Bundesliga star

Tottenham is on the verge of losing Bundesliga star, Robin Koch to Leeds United after he has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Premier League new boys.

Spurs have been in the market for a new centre back this summer and Koch was one of their targets.

The Lilywhites need to sign a new defender after losing Jan Vertonghen to Benfica.

Jose Mourinho is also not a fan of Juan Foyth who might be sold before the new season starts.

Koch has been praised as one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga where he stars for Freiburg.

His fine performances for the German side has made him a target for some of the top sides in Europe.

Tottenham and Leeds United are the leading English teams looking to sign him and it seems that the Whites have won the race for his signature.

Football Insider claims that Leeds United have agreed on personal terms with the defender and he will be joining the Premier League new boys in a deal worth around £20 million.

Spurs have secured two signings already with Joe Hart and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg joining, but more will come and Milan Skriniar is another defender that Jose Mourinho likes.
